  • TECHNOLOGY: Complex Open Source/Open Architecture Network Security (associated with DCGS/Network and Routing Security)
  • PROGRAM: network design and deployment for 32 AF sites across the globe
  • CLIENT ENGAGEMENT: Work directly with the Program Manager, Project Engineers and senior government clients at 32 sites across the globe
  • LEADERSHIP: Lead 6 teams (1 direct/5 sub) of functional engineers in execution of the program. The Systems Engineer is the technical lead of the engineering team and is the Program Manager’s technical liaison.
  • REQUIREMENTS DESIGN: the Systems Engineer is responsible for definition of requirements, generation and allocation of specifications, control documents, plans and reports in support of the development.
  • CAPTURE/PROPOSALS: The Systems Engineer supports programs from the early phases of program capture through integration and test.
JOB OVERVIEW
  • Support the chief engineer and the engineering team on refining the system architecture during the proposal effort
  • Develop use cases to support the definition of customer requirements
  • Based upon customer requirements, develop system requirements and specifications; develop and maintain requirements traceability matrices
  • Allocate system requirements to hardware and software subsystems and components
  • Develop test plans and procedures
    • Direct execution of program tests, analyze results, and develop test reports
    • Prepare material for, and conduct periodic design reviews
  • Support the chief engineer and business development in defining systems architectures for business opportunities during the program capture phase. Execute engineering design and development activities consistent with Customer quality, cost and schedule requirements
  • Ensure that all specifications, designs and developments adhere to standards and customer requirements
  • Provide support in the development and maintaining of configuration baselines for systems and sub-systems
  • Act as a technical liaison to the Program Manager
JOB EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Requires a BS in Related Field.
  • 6+ years of Systems Engineering experience
  • TS/SCI REQUIRED
