JOB SUMMARY

JOB OVERVIEW 
You will report to the Financial Controller.  
 
You will interface with our direct sales, channel sales, renewals team, licencing and sales operations to ensure all transactions are processed on time and accurately on systems.  You will work to maximise revenue, minimize leakage and ensure that appropriate finance and business intelligence is available to the business. You will monitor and enforce compliance with finance policies and procedures. As well as transaction processing and management reporting, you will be involved in organization wide finance projects to ensure that our processes and systems are appropriate and robust as we continue on our impressive year on year growth.
 
Specific Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Interface with North America Team to ensure timely processing of sales orders - validate order accuracy against contracts and other relevant documentation in accordance with policy.
  • Reconcile Salesforce.com to NetSuite to ensure data accuracy and to prevent revenue leakage.
  • Issue invoices and respond to customer inquiries in relation to invoicing.
  • Build and generate weekly metric reports & provide analysis for the Finance and Operations Team and Global Leadership Team to monitor performance against a range of key business drivers.
  • Provide recommendations, based on data analysis, in support of key business decisions that impact the business.
  • Work with Finance to ensure revenue recognition is appropriate and in line with policy.
  • Support the Accounts Receivables process.
  • Specific project and project management activities working across different business functions. 
JOB EXPERIENCE REQUIRED  
  • BS in Finance or Accounting
  • Previous experience in a software company, technology practice of Big 4, or respected graduate training program is preferable though not a necessity.
  • Minimum 3-7 years internal corporate finance and accounting experience
  • Experience working in fast paced, technology startup environment preferred
  • Independent worker with quality decision making skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Results orientated with a strong ability to execute and drive for results.
  • Excellent project and time management skills
  • Self-starter with a can do attitude
  • Excellent communication skills, including excellent presentation skills.
