Project Manager/QA Tester (508 Compliance)

OUR CLIENT
We are a direct/perm search firm only and this opportunity is for a direct long-term FBI contract.  Our client is a premier federal government IT service provider and integrator. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The position is more of a program management role.  This person will assist PAU (FBI division) in developing a 508 testing program and associated processes and policies.  Even though the SOW indicates this person will be required to conduct and document 508 compliance tests, it is more of an oversight role. You will be mainly responsible for providing guidance and assistance to IT Projects on what to test to ensure 508 compliance and will evaluate the 508 test plans and results for completeness.  In this position you will be responsible for assessing the 508 compliance of large, high profile FBI systems and websites.  Your ongoing mission will be to make sure that FBI systems are accessible to all.  You will be actively involved in 508 testing, analysis and remediation activities. 
 
JOB EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Active Top Secret Security Clearance
  • Must have specific knowledge in 508 accessibility compliance for federal websites/web based applications.
  • Must have experience analyzing reports and advising on what fixes need to be made. 
  • Solid understanding of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Excellent documentation and writing skills
  • Section 508 remediation experience
  • Experience in complying with Government Section 508 regulations
  • 5-7 Years of Experience
  • AS or 2 years of Experience directly related 508 Compliance experience
  • Active Top Secret Security Clearance
JOB EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
  • SCRUM Certified
  • Any Section 508 training or certifications
  • Experience in Test Plans, Test Scripts and Procedures
