Webmaster (Big Data Marketing Team)

Our client is currently located in the Mission District of San Francisco and will be relocating to 140 New Montgomery in downtown San Francisco in the Fall.  They are a leader in Big Data software product development and a leading provider of game changing Big Data management solutions for the enterprise. Their flagship Big Data product line features Big Data in-memory solutions that deliver performance at any scale. Their other award winning data management solutions include the de facto caching standard and the de facto scheduler for enterprise Java. Our client supports the data management needs of a majority of the Global 1000 with over 500,000 deployments of its products.

JOB SUMMARY
Our client is currently looking to hire a Web Master.  Due to tremendous product success, this is a new hybrid web management and design role where this person will design and manage web properties and provide in-house design services for the exciting and growing marketing.  The successful candidate will love managing a website, have a graphic design background, and love being creative and organized at the same time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all client web properties (including blogs)
  • Design and execute all aspects of core pages, landing pages, micro-sites, mobile optimized sites, mobile apps including content, link and other site updates (meta data, SEO)
  • Address technical issues such as browser updates, broken links, new functionality requirements, and integration with marketing automation software
  • Manage design and development of new site
  • Manage vendors in cases where additional expertise or assistance is required
  • May also be asked to design web and print assets for marketing (banner ads, collateral)
Requirements:
  • BA, BS Degree required, (Degree in Computer Science, Graphic Design or other related field)
  • 8-10 years’ experience
  • Experience successfully managing websites for B2B (e-commerce) software companies
  • Experience designing assets that adhere to brand guidelines
  • Experience designing for the web and mobile platforms (architecting the design
  • Can balance form and function in design
  • Strong coder skills
  • Experience monitoring and tracking web activity and performance
IT Skills:
  • MAC/WINDOWS, Office, Webapp proficiency
  • Expert in HTML/CSS/JS, CMS technologies, Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience with Marketo, Google Analytics, Radian6, Hootsuite, Salesforce.com, Wordpress and other tracking and publishing platforms
