Project Coordinator (Construction Management)

SALARY: $50-70k depending on experience
REPORTS TO: Senior Project Manager
TEAM
  • East Coast Vice President sits in this office
  • Currently 3 (looking to grow to 6 in next 2-3 months)
CAREER GROWTH POTENTIAL
  • Regular time and training with VP and Senior PM
  • 1-2 Years: APM (5-7 clients with up to $500k financial responsibility)- once training is complete
  • 2-3 Years: PM with full P&L responsibility (10-15 major clients)
CURRENT ROLE CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Engineering | Project Coordination | Client/Supplier Relationship Management | Serve as right hands to PM
  • Manage the shop drawing, shop ticket and submittal and review process
  • Coordinate purchasing, shipping, receiving with project vendors
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, GCs to determine the tile/stone specifications of the project
  • Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
  • Schedule construction operations and plan project logistics to ensure project deadlines will be met
  • Administer change orders, additional project billings in collaboration with accounting
  • Evaluate progress, quality control and prepare detailed reports
