Hospitality Professional - Global Luxury Hotel Chain New Location in Dubai

CORE AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Housekeeping Duty (60%)
  • Ensure that all activities adhere to and support our  Quality Management System
  • Do special general cleaning in guest rooms as per housekeeping schedule and occupancy level
  • Clean each room assigned thoroughly, making the necessary arrangement in guest rooms and replenishing linen and guest supplies
  • Report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and nametag on at all times
  • Understand and adhere to all fire emergency procedures
  • Be aware of cost savings according to hotel procedures
  • Collect the section key against signature and room report from the Housekeeping office and return them at the end of the shift
  • Clean exit staircases and pantries on the floor level assigned to, and store all the equipment in its proper place
  • Restock the trolley for the next day.
  • Clean assigned area or outlet thoroughly, making the necessary arrangement, replenishing linen and guest supplies in specific areas
  • Take particular attention to busy areas such as guest lifts inside and outside, toilets, entrance doors, lobby carpets, ashtrays, restaurants, function rooms
  • Inspect all facilities, furniture, and fixtures and report any damage to the Team Leader for action and follow-up
  • Clean all back of house areas and toilets, lockers and offices as per standard set by the hotel
  • Fill out the Housekeeping attendant’s reports correctly, showing the room status and time cleaned
  • Report to housekeeping Team Leader/ Coordinator lost and found items as soon as found in the guest room
  • Ensure that no one enters in guest rooms except with the approval of the Team Leader
     
Linen Room Duty (40%)
  • Receive clean linen and return the soiled linen to the linen room according to the par stock established
  • Receive all dirty room and F&B linen, count and record the count ensuring the amount received is correct
  • Assist in quarterly and annual linen inventories
  • Keep linen room & store always clean and tidy
  • Keep accurate daily records of discarded linen
  • Control daily amount of collected and received linen for and from the Central Laundry
  • Receive clean linen and return the soiled linen to the linen room according to the par stock established
  • Receive all dirty rooms linen, count and record the count ensure the figures received are correct
  • Liaise with Central Laundry concerning linen collection and receipt of clean linen ensuring the best possible service is achieved
  • Ensure that any linen requiring minor repairs is given to the tailor for mending
